Lauren & Patrick your day finally came! Ever since meeting you at the Lake for your engagement session, I knew that we would have so much fun together. I mean you loved fall, dogs, and God. I think that’s enough to build a friendship on. When the morning came and I walked in from the cold October morning to a bridal room full of warm light, bright faces, and giddy laughter, I knew this was going to be a really fun wedding!

Here are 5 things I adored about your special day!

1.The atmosphere in the bridal room! Everyone was so happy and alive. It made me smile to be a small part of that.

2.The gift that Patrick made Lauren. Yes he made that just for her and watching her eyes light up with surprise when she realized what it was, was priceless.

3.Their first Kiss. I know I use this one a lot, but these two waited since middle school to be married and the anticipation just built up to something magical.

4. The Bouquet/ Garter Toss! It’s so funny how the girls are all trying to get that bouquet while the guys take a step back. Not an aversion to marriage I don’t think, more like an aversion to the tradition that comes after catching the garter. (I always forget that’s coming).

5. Your guests & bridal party on the dance floor! Talk about a fun night. With Shewsical leading the dance floor, it was hard not to get up and dance, but everyone was just so warm and loving with each other. It was a true family.
