SWEET FREDERICK SUMMER WEDDING | CARLITA & TONY | MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Everyone huddled together underneath the large awning at Prospect Manor, laughing and joking with each other, enjoying the day. Carlita and Tony had just shared a beautiful ceremony with their family and friends at the church across the street, and now they were just savoring the moments that come afterwards. Surrounded by their best friends, these two smiled so big at each other, you could tell how happy they were. Many challenges came their way when trying to plan this special day of theirs, and every time they made it over one hurdle, another one magically appeared. But you know what they say, Nothing Great is Going to Come Easily. See their engagement session here
And in the end, all those challenges brought Carlita and Tony closer together. They went through month after month of wedding dates, having to change them just as quickly as they had picked them, when finally the date was clear: July 5th. It was not what either of them had originally wanted, but it was the date that allowed them everything they did want. They would later find that this was a God-given gift. Not many people would be too keen on this date, but this was the date God chose for them.
And you want to know how I know this?
While we were huddled under that awning sharing in beautiful joy, something spectacular happened. The rain dissipated and in its stead, it left behind a Gorgeous Rainbow! A full vivid and lasting rainbow. It was a sign from God, I’m sure of it. A promise for their future and a reminder of his presence in their relationship. It was an awe inspiring moment and I think everyone felt the power behind it, and every little thing that led Carlita and Tony to this moment became all the more worth it.
Carla & Tony,
Thank you so much for trusting me with your special day! I know you were just as surprised with Gods wedding gift to you as I was. I hope you never lose that Christ-Like love you share with your family and friends and most importantly, with each other. I’m so happy for you two and can’t wait for you to start this much-anticipated journey ahead of you.
Love, Amanda
