I actually first met Rosalind and Tyler a few days before today for their engagement session! Since they currently reside in Florida and were making their wedding a Maryland one for the many family and friends they had, we ended up scheduling a day before session. These two are beyond in love. Tyler is so caring of Rosalind, always aware of any need she may have. And Rosalind is the brightest beacon of joy I have ever seen. So you can imagine how bright that light shone on her wedding day. From her absolutely DAZZLING dress to their first kiss as husband and wife, the joy was unreal and I think that this just might be what Gramercy Mansion attracts: Joy.
On a bright April day, Tyler walks out the garden where he knows his bride waits for him. Turning his back he walks backward a few steps and waits. Stifling giggles and adjusting her skirts, Rosalind calls out in a sing song voice “Tyyyler” He turns around and she laughs a beautiful laugh. Reaching out for each other they embrace, hardly able to contain their joy. Rosalind twirls around in her gown for her soon to be husband, practically dancing with glee. Tyler smiles so wide, you can tell exactly what he is thinking…“I must be the luckiest man in the world…”
I’ve heard heartwarming toasts before, but none as genuine as these. Tyler’s entire family was thrilled to have Rosalind be apart of their family and they made it known in their sweet words of encouragement, joy and love for their new daughter in law. Tears were shed, hugs shared and an overall joy just settled over the party. This led to beautiful father daughter and mother son dances along with father daughter-in-law hugs. See? Joy!! And I just can’t get enough of it!
Rosalind and Tyler, what a superbly joyous day! I am beyond grateful to be included in the narrative, even if in a small way. I loved capturing the memories of this day and hope you enjoy sharing the details with your grandkids one day. All my best!
