Between the gardens, the historic mansion, all the pretty little details, and approximately a million spots that make me want to grab my camera, there is a LOT to love about a Gramercy Mansion wedding.
But honestly, the pretty stuff isn't even my favorite part.
It's you guys.
It's your best friend making you laugh while you're getting ready. Your mom trying very hard not to cry. The way you look at each other when you think nobody is watching. Your entire bridal party absolutely losing it on the dance floor later that night.

Don't panic if Maryland decides to rain on your wedding day. Gramercy's interiors are beautiful too, and there are plenty of options for portraits inside.

My biggest timeline advice? Don't pack every second of your day.
Leave room to enjoy it.
You'll be surprised how quickly it goes.
One of the things I love about Gramercy is that there are so many places to slow down for a minute. You can sneak away into the gardens, have a quiet moment together, or just take a breath before jumping back into the party.

1. How much does a Gramercy Mansion wedding photographer cost?
My wedding photography collections typically range from $5,000–$8,000, with full wedding collections starting at $4,800 for 8–10 hours.
Smaller celebrations have their own options, with micro weddings starting at $2,400 and elopements starting at $900.
I like to share pricing upfront because nobody enjoys falling in love with a photographer only to discover they're way outside their budget. If we're in the same ballpark, let's chat!
2. How far in advance should we book our Gramercy Mansion wedding photographer?
If you've already booked your Gramercy Mansion wedding date, I'd recommend reaching out sooner rather than later, especially for popular spring and fall dates.
That said, don't count yourself out just because your wedding is coming up quickly. Send me a message and I'll let you know if I'm available!
3. How many hours of wedding photography do we need at Gramercy Mansion?
Most couples getting married at Gramercy Mansion choose around 8 hours of wedding photography. This usually gives us plenty of time for getting ready, portraits, your ceremony, family photos, cocktail hour, and a good chunk of the reception.
But more coverage isn't automatically better. I would much rather help you figure out what your day actually needs than sell you hours just because they're available.
4. What's included in your Gramercy Mansion wedding photography packages?
My wedding photography collections are designed around the overall experience, not just the number of hours I'm holding a camera.
Depending on your collection, options can include full wedding day coverage, an engagement session, a second photographer, an online gallery, high-resolution edited images, and heirloom albums.
We'll talk through what matters most to you and find the collection that makes sense for your wedding.
5. Do you know the best photo spots at Gramercy Mansion?
Oh, absolutely. 😂
I've photographed weddings at Gramercy Mansion and know there are a lot of pretty places to choose from. The gardens, staircase, fountains, ivy-covered walls, conservatory, library, and all those little tucked-away corners give us plenty of options.
But I don't want your wedding photos to feel like a checklist of Gramercy's greatest hits.
We'll use the beautiful spots, of course, but I'll also pay attention to the light, the time of day, and what feels like you.
6. Do you help with posing for wedding portraits?
Yes!
And if you're already thinking, “We're awkward in pictures,” please know that is completely normal.
You don't need to know how to pose. I'll give you enough direction that you aren't standing there wondering what to do with your hands, then I'll let you interact and be yourselves.
I want your Gramercy Mansion wedding portraits to look beautiful without looking like you're trying really hard to look beautiful. 😉
7. Do you photograph candid moments during weddings?
Definitely. Those little in-between moments are a huge part of why I love wedding photography.
I'll photograph the big things, but I'm also watching for the things happening around them. Your bridesmaids laughing in the getting-ready room. Your dad seeing you for the first time. Your friends tearing up during the ceremony. The two of you sneaking a little moment together during the reception.
Sometimes those end up being the photographs you love the most.
8. What happens if it rains on our Gramercy Mansion wedding day?
We roll with it!
Gramercy Mansion is beautiful inside and out, so a rainy wedding day doesn't mean you're out of options for gorgeous wedding photos. The historic interiors, staircase, library, and conservatory all give us plenty to work with.
And if we get a little break in the rain? We're probably going outside. I'm not afraid of getting a little wet for a good photo. 😂
9. Can you help us with our Gramercy Mansion wedding timeline?
Absolutely. This is one of the parts of being a wedding photographer that I genuinely enjoy. I'll help you think through things like getting ready, your first look, family photos, portraits, golden hour, and how much time you'll actually want to spend taking pictures.
My biggest piece of advice is always the same: leave yourself some breathing room.
Your wedding day is going to fly by. I don't want you spending the whole thing rushing from one thing to the next.
10. Do you photograph engagement sessions for Gramercy Mansion couples?
Yes! Engagement sessions are a fun way for us to get comfortable with each other before your wedding day.
You also get to figure out what you like in front of the camera without a hundred people waiting on you. 😂
And by the time your wedding day arrives, taking photos with me won't feel like such a big deal.
11. Do you travel for weddings outside of Gramercy Mansion?
Absolutely. I'm a Maryland wedding photographer and photograph weddings throughout Maryland and the surrounding DMV area.
Gramercy Mansion is one of my favorite Maryland wedding venues, but it definitely isn't the only place I'll happily bring my camera.
