at gramercy mansion
What a beyond perfect spring wedding day! I adored these two and their sweet natures. We had so much fun wandering Patterson Park together, it should not have been any surprise that their wedding day would be full of the same level of fun! It was fun, dreamy, and fantastical!

No wedding is ever exactly the same. Each one has it's own unique details that best encapsulate the story of the bride and groom. Some are even God given!
The moment I saw Kellie's artisan-made hair jewelry, I knew this wedding was going to be a vibrant, expressive celebration! Honestly, I should have guessed as much—after all, it was at Gramercy Mansion. From the adorable glass ducks tucked around the venue to the beautifully unique purple-and-blue bouquet, this couple embraced the “make it your day” vibe and absolutely ran with it.
"this is not the first time a couple has been so excited to get hitched"
Kellie walks across the lawn, her eyes locked on David, who can’t stop grinning from ear to ear. Their families watch with sappy smiles—some trying (and failing) to hold back tears—as the two exchange their vows. The officiant pronounces them husband and wife, and they run down the aisle, so thrilled it finally happened. They’re married! But wait… did we forget something?
"Just another example of how the day can take on a magic of it's own if we go with it."
They forgot to exchange the rings! Of course, we took a few photos of them recreating the moment at their ceremony site—but after entering the reception, they made the big announcement and exchanged their rings right then and there. The whole room erupted in laughter and cheers because, honestly, this was so Kellie and David!
"Did I mention the mini glass ducks?"
I loved every bit of their reception décor! Brightly colored wildflowers, candles, and charming little glass figurines created a whimsical, storybook vibe. Outside, their personal gramophone filled the air with music, setting the perfect mood. Then came the magic of dancing under twinkling string lights on the patio to one of my all-time favorite songs, "A Million Dreams"—I’ll admit, I got a little teary by the end of that one. The night wrapped up with board games, dessert, and soft music playing in the background. An introverted wedding reception at its finest!
it was such a surprise to receive my first handwritten review! complete with wax seal
