“We are a Tinder success story!”

After college, Tiffani moved from Pennsylvania to Virginia for her new teaching job in Prince William County. Of course it can be hard to make friends in a new place, so she was delighted to find a friend on Tinder. They really hit it off when they found they were both being Penn State grads! Well that clinched it. They had to meet! And even though DC Labor Day traffic did it’s worst and Tiffani ended up being an hour late, Eric waited patiently for her to arrive. Such a gentleman! Their first date is still one they remember fondly. “Our first date made an impact on me because we never ran out of things to talk about. I loved how much he was able to make me laugh!”

They just LOVE Old Towne Alexandria!

While the two got to know each other more and more, they developed some sort of tradition where they go out to Old Towne for date night once a month. Atleast! What with the great restaurants, walking paths, and overall ambiance, it’s hard to pass up a visit any chance you get. They were even able to do New Years Eve down there. And it must have been a magical night, because they went and did it again the next year.

But the magic didn’t end there.

A week before their big trip to Costa Rica, Tiffani was out and about running some last minute errands. When Eric gave her a call and asked if she wanted to get dinner on the Occoquan waterfront. One of their favorite restaurants was over there. Since they had this trip coming up, she tried to convince him to just get pizza instead, but Eric was not to be deterred. You see he was on a mission. After their amazing dinner, Eric suggested walking to the waterfront.

“It was over 100 degrees that day, but after being reluctant to dinner, I agreed.” Once they got to the waterfront, they sat down. “I jokingly asked if he brought me to dinner to tell me he bought me one of the picturesque waterfront homes there. When he responding with “I actually asked you here to marry me” I was shocked to say the least!” This. You guys. This is the stuff real love stories are made of! Real and true words and it’s just so amazingly beautiful!
